Ca' Corniani
The name of the hamlet CA' CORNIANI originated from the Venetian family Corniani who at the end of 1600 bought an agricultural area delimited by the Livenza river and the canals 'Dead Livenza' and 'Commessera' from the Republic of Venice. The hamlet enjoyed its moment of maximum splendour in the early 1900's with a numerous population, 32 farm houses, 230 thousand grapevines and 100 thousand plants yielding wood and fruit.
